Modified membrane roofing is one of the latest in roofing material systems. This system is either seamless, or has seams as strong or stronger than the main covering body.

The advantages of this are that it eliminates leakage concerns associated with flat roofing systems. This newer style system also easier to repair, and leaks are easier to locate.

Modified membrane roofing systems resist expansion and contraction, reflect UV radiation, and and more resistant to expansion and contraction. This style of roofing is also considerably lighter than older systems that used tar and gravel.
